What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
