Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
